June 11th, 2009 - Biker's Night at Bobby's - Motorcycle Cruise and Bike Show sponsored by Road Rider's for Jesus. All bikes welcome. Registration 6 pm, voting 7 pm, awards 8:15 pm. Plaque awarded for group with highest attendance, so wear your colors!

June 11, 2009 – Illinois State HOG Rally – Keith & Kathie Rule will be at Ted’s at 3:45 PM for a two lane, non-stop ride to the Dealer Party at Hall’s Harley Davidson in Springfield – KSU at 4:00 PM. All are welcome to join us...or...Dan and D.R. will be meeting at the Flying J at 270 & Hwy 111 at 9:00am for breakfast, with KSU at 10:00am. Plan to arrive in Springfield by 11:30am, and try to take in some of the sights of the Capital.  All are welcome to join.

June 14, 2009 - Bourbeuse Valley HOG Mystery Points Ride - all-chapter supported ride. Stay tuned for more information. – Organized ride meeting at the Flying J (I-270 & Hwy 111) at 9:15 AM – KSU at 9:30.

Here is some information from Road Captain Dan, regarding MMM Chapter rides: 

1) Howard is starting at The Eagles Nest Restaurant on IL-140 in Bethalto, KSU @ 8:00 am SHARP!!! This ride will be going 2-lane roads to Terre Haute, Indiana Harley dealer, South to do some shopping at Boot City, East to Effinghma, IL for ice cream trying to hook up with Ride 2 (see below) and then heading back to Ted's for the evening ride. 

2) Dan is meeting at Flying J, I-270 and IL-111, KSU @ 7:30 am SHARP!!! This ride will be going 2-lane to Arthur, IL for a Amish style buffet lunch, riding South to Effingham, IL for ice cream and then heading back to Ted's for the evening ride. 

3) D.R. is meeting at Flying J at I-270 & IL-111 @ 9:00 for breakfast. KSU @ 10:00. Ride up the Illinois river road to Quincy, visit TNT, eat lunch then ride back down the Missouri river road. 

4) Evening ice cream ride. Meet at Ted's, KSU @ 6:00 to ride for ice cream. Location to be determined. 

REMEMBER: we have a challenge from Stone Celts Chapter regarding bike miles ridden this Monday. Even if all you can do is ride a few miles to work, every little bit helps. 

Please report all mileage to me (Dan) that day to tabulate a total. Due to the number of people reporting mileage, and the fact that I will be on the road, please text me or email me your mileage. Include your name and total miles ridden. Remember that we are only counting bike miles, not people miles. Two up riding (for Alton HOG mileage) counts as single miles. Text me at 618-531-1832. This is a perfect opportunity to say "Screw it, let's ride." We are going to ride two-lane roads as much as possible. We won't get as many miles but it will be much more fun. 

ALSO, don't forget to record your miles with Harley Davidson, so it can be counted in the world total (goal 5 million). To do so, go to members.hog.com by the end of the day.

Closed Events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members & one guest per member.

Member Events are events that are open only to H.O.G. members.

Open Events are those chapter events which are open to chapter members, national H.O.G. members, & other guests as desired.
