First Adopt a Highway of 2008, Alton HOG, April 5th 2008       Page 1 of 1

Alton HOG is proud to have adopted a section of the Great River Road near Piasa Creek. The Illinois Adopt-A-Highway program brings citizen volunteers into partnership with the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) to pick up trash and keep our roadsides clean. Volunteers from Chapter 0880 met for the first clean up date, Saturday April 5th, 2008. After collecting dozens of bags of trash, the hungry group had lunch at The Loading Dock restaurant.
